The Emotional Rollercoaster of Activism: Channeling Feelings for a Powerful Mission

Lucretia Berry  •  September 2023

Be honest. You’ve been doing the work, and it’s hard, right? The emotional, spiritual, and physical labor takes a toll on you. Well, we see you and Dr. Zinobia Bennefield has created a course specifically for you!

The Mindful Anti-Racist is designed to

  1. center the feelings of those engaged in anti-racism work,
  2. acknowledge that those feelings are important (no matter what they are or who feels them or why),
  3. and teach us how to embrace and move through those feelings in a compassionate way.

You will gain a greater sense of love for yourself and your journey, and the ability to process your emotions when engaged in this tough work.

The Mindful Anti-Racist Introduction by Dr. Zinobia Bennefield

Wouldn’t you love to talk with Dr. Bennefield live?

PRE-ENROLL by Saturday, September 30th to get access to her LIVE webinar on Sunday, October 1st, 7pm ET/6CT/5MT/4PT.

An Early Review

Wow, amazing and I was so drawn into the content and Dr. Bennefield’s energy and expertise.

I tend to approach the world, my life, and change from the “inside out”– this course resonated for me.

She explores managing difficult (in many cases painful) emotions and within the context of doing anti-racism work with a practical, down to earth, understandable approach. I was particularly impacted in the example she walked us through in the Judgmental module, such an experiential, real life illustration.

The format of ‘share information’ (video), mantra, mind/body journaling and physical (body) related activity seems quite effective with processing and integration.
