Hey everyone!
As we all know there has to be some changes in the way we go about educating people about race/ism. More and more white people are waking up to the reality that something is horribly wrong, but that’s where we get stuck. How do we move forward?

Brownicity and their development of an educational platform is the resource we all need to take advantage of. The curriculum What Lies Between Us – Fostering First Steps Toward Racial Healing was a great entry level, on-ramp for me.
As I have grown from this course, I decided to create a podcast called Bridge Building Solutions. I am currently doing a series called the Four R’s of a Racial Reckoning.

In the first episode of the series, we talked about how important RELATIONSHIPS are across ethnic and cultural lines, and how it is those relationships that help us learn and find the motivation to engage. You don’t have to look far to experience new friendships that take you outside of your box.
In episode two of the series, we talked about REMEMBERING how learning our history is important to the process of being able to help foster racial healing. James Baldwin said,
“White people are trapped in a history they don’t understand and until they understand it, they cannot be free of it.”
I would love for you to join me on this liberating journey.
